Also known as Dragon Well according to its literal translation, Longjing is a renowned pan-roasted green tea from Longjing village near Hangzhou of the Zhejiang province. Its flat leaves have a light yellow-green color, and the brewed tea has a fresh, toasty aroma with nutty nuances. The taste is round and mouthfeel creamy. The nuttiness is so charming and memorable that it has been the No. 1 famous green tea in China for decades.
Small-leaf premium Longjing picked from the Wuniuzao cultivar, which begins its spring sprouting early. You can find fried vegetables, pistachios, or sweet corn in the deliciously toasty aroma. The tea tastes mildly sweet and umami, and has a thick and dry mouthfeel.
