Deep green and full-bodied juicy gabatee, whose sweet taste and interesting aromas remain for a long time.

GABA comes from the English name for gamma aminobutyric acid. The leaves of Gaba tea are oxygenated anesthetized, e.g. in vacuum bags or in a nitrogen chamber. It causes the leaves to produce gaba, which gives a soothing feeling.

Despite its usual amount of caffeine, this tea has a calming effect. Tea is hard to brew too strong: that’s why it’s a particularly good tea for bowl infusion.
